ABOUT ME

My name is Muhammad Taufiq bin Jurimi, a 3rd year Computer Science (Software Engineering) student at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

I have been active in academic and co-curricular activities that involve leadership skills and teamwork for more than ten years.

Right now, I am looking for any internship opportunity from September 2024 to February 2025 to improve my computer science skills, soft skills and gain experiences in software development industry.

Feb 2024 > Present :- Mobile Application Developer at Larabit Technologies

Working as a front-end mobile application developer for a student startup company, developing an app for a project with the Johor Scout Association. Helped team to deploy the application in PlayStore and AppStore (Scoutify MY)

Aug 2023 :- Software Engineer Intern at AR Mechatronics PLT

One month internship program, under UTM Voluntary Internship Initiative. Developed several Flutter interface and learnt Firebase.
Collaborated with the team (and lead a team of intern) to start a project of redesigning company website. Implemented an agent registration page on the company website.

PROJECTS AND HACKATHON ENTRIES

I am quite active in local hackathon events, despite not being the favorite to win each time compared to my connections. I only have one 3rd place, three times finalist out of many times I competed. Even so, I still love to join more competitions, as I can consistently learn something new each event. For me, winning is a plus but whats important is the whole journey for each hackathon.
